Grand Prairie Energy Park is a renewable energy project comprised of three phases totaling 350 megawatts of renewable energy in Central Illinois. The project will generate high-paying local jobs, landowner lease payments, local government tax revenue, and clean energy for communities.​ We are committed to working with the community to develop, construct, own, and operate this clean energy project in Central Illinois.
Local Economic Growth
According to an Economic Impact Report from Strategic Economic Research, Virden Wind will generate over $30.2 million in property taxes in total for all taxing districts over the life of the project.
Virden Wind will power over 126,400 homes.
Clean Energy
New Jobs
Over 280 local jobs during construction and over 25 long-term jobs during operations.
Reduced Pollution
Virden Wind will reduce air pollution equal to taking 100,000 cars off the road every year.

UKA North America opened its Farmersville, Illinois office in July 2022, and has its headquarters is in Stuart, Florida.
